Softball Recap: Lyman Hall Takes a Loss

Lyman Hall came into this matchup off a tough eight-run loss on Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the East Haven Yellowjackets by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellowjackets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2019.

Lyman Hall's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for East Haven, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lyman Hall will square off against Sheehan at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for East Haven, they will take on North Haven at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
