After having lost a blowout in their previous game against J.H. Rose, Topsail was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the New Hanover Wildcats 1-0. Topsail haven't had any issues with New Hanover recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Topsail's one-goal win came courtesy of Parker Billiter, which was the first she's scored this season.

Topsail's win bumped their record up to 7-4-2. As for New Hanover, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Topsail will challenge rival Ashley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, New Hanover is set to face off against their familiar foe North Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
