Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Comes Up Short

Faith Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Clinton Prairie Gophers, falling 71-40. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while the Gophers are ranked 120th).

Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Clinton Prairie, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Faith Christian will face off against Delphi Community at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clinton Prairie, they will square off against Fountain Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
