Lanier County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Charlton County, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Lanier County and Charlton County could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Bulldogs will take on Brooks County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (376 vs. 103). Meanwhile, Charlton County (ranked 289th) will meet Clinch County (ranked 137th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
