Jack Gonzalez Earns League's Top Spot

Starting off the list is Harrison's Jack Gonzalez, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Gonzalez made six total tackles and defended a pass. He didn't just play on offense: he also made six total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Big Game from Crowder As Lafayette Jefferson Won 45-21

Lafayette Jefferson picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Keyen Crowder. Nobody could stop Crowder as he threw for 323 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 46 yards. Those 46 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

For the season, Crowder has thrown 28 touchdowns while averaging 247.8 passing yards per game.

Jackson Mills Delivers Best Effort of Season

Harrison came up short on Friday despite Jackson Mills delivering his best game to date. Mills wasn't messing around, picking up a sack and making 22 total tackles. The matchup was his ninth straight with six or more total tackles dating back to last season.

Mills must have Lafayette Jefferson's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Mills picked up a sack and made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss) the last time he and the Bronchos duked it out back in September of 2023.
