Boone was the 3-2 winner over Oak Ridge when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Braves took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers on Saturday. The Braves' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Jeremiah Greenwood paced Boone's offense, picking up ten kills. Greenwood got some help from Jackson Ayoung-Chee and his nine assists. Greenwood was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Oak Ridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boone will venture away from home to challenge Bishop Moore at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oak Ridge, they will take on Wekiva at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
