Basketball Game Preview: Greene County Rams vs. Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs

Greene County is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 20th straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They lost 58-35 to Madrid.

Meanwhile, Prairie City-Monroe had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They breezed by the Eagles to the tune of 63-20. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

Prairie City-Monroe's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.7 points per game. As for Greene County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-16.
