Volleyball Recap: Hendersonville Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Hendersonville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Mount Juliet Golden Bears by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. For the Commandos, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Golden Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

The victory didn't come easy: Mount Juliet scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 11-25, 25-19.

Hendersonville found their leader in freshman Brooke Armet, who had 18 digs and two aces.

Despite the loss, Mount Juliet still got an impressive performance from Brookelynn Aldridge, who had 16 digs and one assist. Aldridge is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played dating back to last season.
