Basketball Game Preview: Riverdale Mavericks vs. Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates

Riverdale has gone 7-1 against Neah-Kah-Nie recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Riverdale Mavericks will be playing at home against the Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates at 6:00 p.m. Riverdale is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Riverdale lost 52-32 to Banks on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Mavericks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Braves are ranked 16th).

Meanwhile, after only 21 points in their last game, Neah-Kah-Nie made sure to put some points up on the board against Warrenton on Friday. Neah-Kah-Nie enjoyed a cozy 55-36 victory over Warrenton.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Neah-Kah-Nie, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.

Riverdale beat Neah-Kah-Nie 48-35 when the teams last played back in January. Will Riverdale repeat their success, or does Neah-Kah-Nie have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
