Basketball Recap: Capital Comes Up Short

Capital lost against Bernalillo back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Capital Jaguars fell to the Bernalillo Spartans 59-55. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Capital's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Bernalillo, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Capital will challenge Rio Rancho at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Rio Rancho knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Capital likes a good challenge. As for Bernalillo, they will square off against Kirtland Central at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
