There's no place like home for Spanish Springs, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Damonte Ranch Mustangs on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won seven in a row.

Spanish Springs walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-19, 25-17.

Madi Long paced Spanish Springs' offense, picking up 11 kills. Long got some help from AJ Robinson and her 19 assists. Robinson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Damonte Ranch's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harper Moscove, who had 12 assists and seven digs. Moscove has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jazz Dulay, who had 15 digs and one assist.

Spanish Springs now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Damonte Ranch, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Spanish Springs has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Virginia City on the 22nd. Damonte Ranch has also already played their next game (against Mammoth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
