Volleyball Recap: Franklin-Simpson Takes a Loss

Franklin-Simpson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Muhlenberg County Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Franklin-Simpson's loss dropped their record down to 4-18-1. As for Muhlenberg County, they pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Franklin-Simpson has already played their next game (against Portland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Muhlenberg County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Breckinridge County on the 22nd.
