 Marion can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Bennington Bulldogs with a sharp  12-2 victory. Winning may never get old, but Marion sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
  Kadon Mercer made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits (and only one walk). Mercer was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with two  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news, Marion got a big performance out of  Jameson Looper, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI.  Gavin Wasmuth was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI and a  double.
 Marion pushed their record up to 15-3 with that  win, which was their sixth straight  at home. As for Bennington, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-7.
 Marion didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  7-5  loss vs. Inman on the 26th. Bennington has also already played their next game,  a  16-0  defeat against Sedgwick on the 26th.
