Softball Game Preview: Buckingham Knights vs. Amherst County Lancers

The Buckingham Knights will challenge the Amherst County Lancers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Buckingham 2.4, Amherst County 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Buckingham had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Appomattox County put an end to it on Thursday. The Knights fell 3-0 to the Raiders. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Amherst County didn't have quite enough to beat Brookville last Wednesday and fell 5-3.
