Softball Recap: Gallatin Takes a Loss

Gallatin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-3 to the Mount Juliet Golden Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Green Wave of the 10-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Gallatin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Daughtry, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Gallatin's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Mount Juliet, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3-1 record this season.

Gallatin will head out to challenge Portland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mount Juliet, they will take on White House at 5:00 p.m. on March 27th.
