The Marion Giants will take on the Yorktown Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Marion is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

Marion proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by four) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat Northwestern by a goal, winning 4-3. Marion's winning goal came courtesy of Ashton Circle.

Meanwhile, Yorktown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to Guerin Catholic. While losing is never fun, Yorktown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while Guerin Catholic are ranked 12th).

Yorktown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Marion, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
