Basketball Recap: Coleville Comes Up Short

Coleville lost against Sparks back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Coleville Wolves took a blow against the Sparks Railroaders, falling 66-23.

Coleville's loss came despite strong showings from Kegan Armold and JayMarion Swan. Armold posted ten points and seven boards, while Swan had seven points and nine rebounds. Swan is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Coleville now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Sparks, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Coleville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-34 loss against Yerington on the 7th. As for Sparks, they will welcome Spring Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
