A Season-Best Performance from Amaya Moreno Leads Mountain Pointe over Chaparral
On Monday, Mountain Pointe got the W thanks in part to Amaya Moreno playing the best football she has all season. Moreno threw for 434 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.1% of her passes, and also rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown. Mountain Pointe is undefeated when Moreno posts 300 or more passing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
The win was the third in a row for Mountain Pointe, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Moreno and Mountain Pointe will square off against Notre Dame Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

The victory (which was Millennium's third in a row) raised their record to 9-2. Saunders and Millennium will square off against Corona del Sol at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
