The Coconut Creek Cougars will be playing at home against the Everglades Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Coconut Creek's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Everglades has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
After soaring to 70 points the game before, Coconut Creek were a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They were beaten by McArthur 66-16. Coconut Creek was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-8.
Despite the loss, Coconut Creek had strong showings from Devonique Thompson, who scored six points, and Tessan Parchment, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and six steals. Parchment is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.
Everglades suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 61-20 loss at the hands of Northeast.
Coconut Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Everglades, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
