Softball Recap: Amory Panthers vs. Nettleton Tigers
If Amory was riding high fresh off their 16-7 takedown of Smithville on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers fell 5-2 to the Nettleton Tigers on Saturday. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.
Amory saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Snyder, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Samone Burdine also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
