Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Manning

Manning never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They didn't even let the Mullins Auctioneers on the board, marking the Monarchs' second-straight 15-0 shutout. Considering the Monarchs have won four matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Manning's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Mullins, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Mullins will venture away from home to square off against Loris at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Manning will be paying especially close attention to the Auctioneers' game: after the Auctioneers faces off against the Lions, they'll take on Manning again at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
