Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Wayne Trace

While Wayne Trace's victory against Miller City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 7-6. The win was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Avery Noffsinger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Addyson Labounty, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alicia Bahena, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.

Wayne Trace's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Miller City, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 8-5 record.
