It was a good run, but Roncalli unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 22-14 to the Brillion Lions. The Jets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Roncalli's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Brillion, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Roncalli will challenge rival St. Mary Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Brillion is set to face off against their familiar foe New Holstein at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
