Troy hadn't done well against South Williamsport recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Trojans walked away with a 6-3 win over the Mountaineers. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Reed Palmer was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Smith, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Troy pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for South Williamsport, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Troy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-9 defeat against Hughesville on the 19th. As for South Williamsport, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against Warrior Run on the 18th.
