Cosby waltzed into their game on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They breezed past the Hancock County Indians to the tune of 49-17. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Indians are ranked 392nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cosby's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points over those games. As for Hancock County, they are on a 33-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Coincidentally, Cosby and Hancock County will both be playing Washburn the next time they take the court. Hancock County will head out to face Washburn at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Cosby will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
