Basketball Recap: Graham-Kapowsin Takes a Loss

They had to suffer through a 53-23 loss at the hands of the Spanaway Lake Sentinels. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Sentinels earlier this season, when they won 56-49.

When it comes to explaining why Graham-Kapowsin lost, don't look at Brooklynn Chang. Despite the final result, she posted ten points.

Graham-Kapowsin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Spanaway Lake, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 6-9.

Graham-Kapowsin has already played their next match, a 56-26 loss against Olympia on the 24th. As for Spanaway Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-8 victory against Yelm on the 24th.
