Sansone came up big in Roosevelt's 10-6 defeat
Roosevelt was sadly handed a loss on Tuesday, but Jack Sansone did his best to prevent it. Niwot had no answer to Sansone as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits.
Even though Sansone couldn't lead Roosevelt over Niwot, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
