Baseball Recap: Woodland Bobcats vs. Fayetteville Wolves
Woodland managed to slip by Fayetteville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bobcats came up short against the Wolves on Thursday, falling 18-2. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 4-2.
Woodland saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Garrett Hendrix, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Woodland's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Fayetteville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.
