Softball Recap: Monadnock Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Monadnock and Fall Mountain, and Fall Mountain kept the tradition alive. The Huskies lost 15-9 to the Wildcats on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-9 on Friday.

Monadnock has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Fall Mountain, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Monadnock by a score of 15-9 later that day.
