Baseball Recap: Clinton Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Clinton Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-4 to the Jackson HomeSchool Victors. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Victors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2016.

Clinton Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Montgovery, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Clinton Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Jackson HomeSchool, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

Clinton Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-0 defeat against Tri-County Academy on the 8th. As for Jackson HomeSchool, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hattiesburg HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
