If Park Rapids was riding high fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Nevis on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers lost 12-6 to the Barnesville Trojans on Monday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Park Rapids has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. Barnesville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8.
