Volleyball Recap: Addison Beats Sumiton Christian for Their Fourth Straight Win

Addison entered their tilt with Sumiton Christian on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles.

Addison easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19.

Addison's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Savannah Smith, who had five digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Smith a new career-high.

Addison's victory bumped their record up to 21-11. As for Sumiton Christian, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-25.

Addison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against West Point on the 6th. As for Sumiton Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Meek on the 2nd.
