Recap: Kamiakin Braves vs. Pasco Bulldogs
The Kamiakin Braves entered their tilt with the Pasco Bulldogs with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Kamiakin took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 50-0 victory over Pasco. Considering Kamiakin has won five matchups by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Camden Schmidt, who rushed for 182 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown. Dom Powell made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Kamiakin's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Pasco, their loss was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kamiakin will take on Wenatchee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wenatchee will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Kamiakin is ranked 30th). As for Pasco, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against University at 6:00 p.m.
