Softball Recap: West Oso Bears vs. Hebbronville Longhorns
West Oso was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 21-3 to the Hebbronville Longhorns.
Serenity Lopez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 12 games.
Even though they lost, West Oso always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. This was only their first loss (out of four games) when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
West Oso's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Hebbronville, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Looking ahead, West Oso will challenge King at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hebbronville, they will take on Freer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
