Softball Recap: Kearns Cougars vs. Highland Rams

In what's become a running theme this season, Kearns gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Highland Rams with a sharp 19-2 victory. The win was just what Kearns needed coming off of an 18-1 defeat in their prior matchup.

Kallie Stocking made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Stocking has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Stocking was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.
