South Hills is a perfect 7-0 against San Dimas since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Huskies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Saints at 3:30 p.m. South Hills is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
On Friday, South Hills didn't have quite enough to beat Alta Loma and fell 4-3.

Abigail Quintero was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she struck out seven batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Jayden Garcia and Charli Moreno stepped up to the plate in a big way. Garcia went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double, while Moreno went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikayla Sta. Ana, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, San Dimas made sure to put some runs up on the board against Duarte on Monday. The Saints put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 16-6 win. Considering the Saints have won eight contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Brook D'Amato made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. D'Amato was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with one run and one double. Those two hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, San Dimas got a massive performance out of Maya Medina, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-4. That's the most home runs Medina has posted since back in March of 2024. Tiffany Villegas was another key player, going 3-for-6 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and two doubles.
San Dimas kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
San Dimas' victory bumped their record up to 13-11-1. As for South Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8-1.
San Dimas' hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. South Hills has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.4 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for San Dimas, though, as they've been averaging only 3.7 strikeouts. Will South Hills keep running through batters, or will the Saints buck the trend?
South Hills took their win against San Dimas when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 15-3 score. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Saints turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
