Weston barely beat Newton South the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats blew past the Lions 8-1 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Weston pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Newton South, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Weston will host Boston English at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. As for Newton South, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Malden Catholic at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
