North Penn-Liberty and Northeast Bradford are an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Mountie will look to defend their home field on Monday against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. The last three games North Penn-Liberty has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

North Penn-Liberty's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past Athens 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mountie have posted since March 27th.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Northeast Bradford and Troy had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Panthers lost 12-1 to the Trojans on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Northeast Bradford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kelsea Moore, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

North Penn-Liberty pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Northeast Bradford, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

North Penn-Liberty was able to grind out a solid win over Northeast Bradford in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 7-2. Do the Mountie have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
