Softball Recap: Sequoyah Chiefs vs. Milton Eagles
Sequoyah posted their closest victory since August 22nd on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Milton Eagles out 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chiefs.
Sequoyah's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Milton, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 16-6 record.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sequoyah will stay at home for another game and welcome Sprayberry at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sprayberry is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Milton, they will host Gainesville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Milton is facing Gainesville at the right time seeing as Gainesville is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
