Basketball Recap: Oxon Hill Clippers vs. Central Falcons
The Oxon Hill Clippers can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Central 81-8 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Oxon Hill who now have five in a row.
Oxon Hill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Madison Williams out in front who scored 15 points along with two steals. Williams hasn't dropped below 15 points for 12 straight games. Damia Worthy was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven assists and two steals.
Oxon Hill is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Central, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
Oxon Hill will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Wolverines at 7:15 p.m. Potomac is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Central, they will head out on the road to challenge the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for La Plata and three for the Falcons.
