Volleyball Recap: Cooper Comes Up Short

Cooper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Monterey Plainsmen. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Plainsmen apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Cooper's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Monterey, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Coming up, Cooper will be playing in front of their home fans against Jim Ned at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monterey, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Oakridge at 9:00 a.m.
