Owosso entered their tilt with Ovid-Elsie on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-9 victory over the Marauders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since May 5th.

Owosso's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-11. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Ovid-Elsie, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.

Coincidentally, Owosso and Ovid-Elsie will both be playing New Lothrop the next time they take the field. The Trojans will head out to face the Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Marauders will head out to face them at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
