Basketball Recap: Mead Comes Up Short

Mead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 45-21 to the Falls City Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-23 back in January.

Despite the loss, Mead still got an impressive performance from Riley Koranda, who posted eight points. The dominant performance also gave Koranda a new career-high in shooting accuracy (60%).

Mead's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Falls City, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.

Looking ahead, Mead will be playing at home against Sterling at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Falls City, they will take on Auburn at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
