Softball Recap: Sheboygan Falls Takes a Loss

Sheboygan Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Two Rivers Purple Raiders, falling 13-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Purple Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in April.

Evie Devine made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season.

Sheboygan Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Two Rivers, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sheboygan Falls will square off against rival Valders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Two Rivers is set to challenge their familiar foe Kiel at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
