Basketball Recap: Elmwood/Plum City Comes Up Short

Elmwood/Plum City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 79-78 heartbreaker at the hands of the Blair-Taylor Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 74-52 defeat back in January.

Elmwood/Plum City's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Blair-Taylor, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Blair-Taylor beat Elmwood/Plum City by a score of 79-78 on Tuesday.
