Baseball Recap: Chaparral Takes a Loss

Chaparral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 16-2 to the Boulder City Eagles. If the Cowboys were looking for revenge after losing 14-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chaparral's record now sits at 2-13. As for Boulder City, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

While Chaparral had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
