Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Los Alamos). They put the hurt on the Moriarty Pintos with a sharp 69-44 win on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Moriarty lost, don't look at Jordan Brown. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 13 on his way to 21 points. The contest was Brown's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Weston Cooley, who posted seven points.

Los Alamos' win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-14. As for Moriarty, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Espanola Valley the next time they take the court. Moriarty will head out to face Espanola Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Los Alamos will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th.
