Lowell extended their postseason success on Friday against East Chicago Central. They blew past the Cardinals 35-0. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 28 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Brody Kalwinski, who rushed for 140 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries, and also threw for 95 yards and one touchdown on only six passes. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 75 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lowell was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 254 rushing yards. They are a perfect 8-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

When it comes to explaining why East Chicago Central lost, don't look at Derion Morris. Despite the final result, he rushed for 181 yards while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

The victory made it two in a row for Lowell and bumps their season record up to 9-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.5 points over those games. As for East Chicago Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Lowell didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-15 loss against Hobart on the 7th. East Chicago Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
