Preview: Hightstown Rams vs. Hamilton Hornets
Hightstown is 8-2 against Hamilton since February of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The pair will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Hightstown is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hamilton in New Jersey (Hightstown is ranked 71st, while Hamilton is ranked 369th).
Hightstown suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Ewing, falling 59-32. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hightstown has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Hamilton earned a 41-34 win over Lawrence on Tuesday.
Hightstown's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Hamilton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11.
Everything came up roses for Hightstown against Hamilton in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 60-7 victory. Does Hightstown have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hamilton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
