Volleyball Recap: Hamlin Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Hamlin had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Redfield Pheasants with a sharp 3-0 win. The Chargers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pheasants, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hamlin was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-15.

Addie Neuendorf paced Hamlin's offense, picking up 13 kills. Neuendorf got some help from Issie Steffensen and her 32 assists. Maddy Jutting controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Redfield saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Katryn Evans had 12 digs. Evans is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Hamlin's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Redfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Hamlin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Sioux Valley on the 7th. As for Redfield, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Groton on the 4th.
